Training Info

We have online training materials and videos that are available to you. We also provide monthly online training session with the Cleveland Team.

We offer two types of training. 1) is to watch a series of videos online and then answer questions afterwards; 2) is to attend one of the online/in-person training sessions with our staff.

Be a Progressive Dinner Host (Usually on a Saturday; once a semester; Citywide event)

Participate Monthly International Dinners( usually on Friday nights; bring food, welcome students; Citywide event )

Join Day Events (usually on Saturdays; hiking, picnic, kayaking, Apple picking, etc;)

Host students for a holiday meal or special event at your home (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day picnic etc)

Provide Short-term Temporary housing ( up to 4 days; usually in August and/or in December before the semester begins)

Assist in Airport Pickup (usually in August and/or December upon students arrival; citywide)

Provide Long-term Housing ( if you are interested in this, we will reach out to you :)

Be a Church Coordinator (mobilize people at your church to get involved with IFI)

Disciple a student (one-on-one)

ELS Conversation Club (Tuesday at lunch time)

Join a prayer Group
